I came across Console Repairs Kent from a reddit comment while looking for a place which services Steam Decks. I sent my Steam Deck LCD via post to have its front shell replaced and I am very pleased with the service provided. My device was serviced by Phil, who was very easy to reach out via WhatsApp. Phil was incredibly professional and provided updates about my repair, as well as answering any questions I had about my device. I sent in an utterly fried Steam Deck with little hope of repair, much less at a price better than just replacing the whole unit. After receiving the console and within just a few days I was promptly informed of the fault, the price to repair and had my own questions clarified without hesitation. It took mere hours to fix and was back in the post almost immediately, then back in my hands within 48 hours, all for a pretty reasonable cost. I can't recommend this service enough. 10/10 would definitely use again.

My GameCube, which I had kept in storage for over 10 years had developed a fault - the laser in the disc drive had broken. Looking for a local solution, as I did not want to post my console, I came across Console Repairs Kent. Booking a drop-off appointment through the website was easy to complete and dropping off on the day was simple too. Phil was able to diagnose the problem, order the replacement disc drive for the system and install. My console was fixed and returned within three weeks, as this was a more complex repair. Phil did a great job, handling the console with care and sending video updates on the repair and explaining what had been replaced. Would recommend to others with console issues. My GameCube has worked perfectly since and with a 1 year warranty on the repair, reassured that if there was an issue, i was covered.
